In case you are curious about what all these subgenres of Metal music are all about (they all sound the same and like noise anyway, right?) here is a nice concise yet pointy description, I stumbled upon it <a href="http://http://community.livejournal.com/snakenet/17348.html">here</a>. Upon consideration, the list seemed incomplete and in a need of some creative editing due to underuse of some powerful anal-o-jeez.
